Bible Challenge #4

Well, we've made it to the last Bible Challenge question! Today's question will be a little different. But before we get to today's question, let's recap what we've already covered. We have touched on fear & anxiety in the world today, having a sharp tongue and how it affects others, how to have an agape kind of love just like God, and today we will talk about the influence one woman can have on another.

This ministry, Kollao, was born out of a desire to bring women together in Christ. A place to worship together, to pray together, to support one another, to hold one another accountable, and to have a place for women to go that is safe and comforting. This month marks ONE year since the Lord started this ministry. We have hit many walls over the past year as we have made plans for events and had to change everything due to current events. But, that's okay! It has forced us to think bigger and reach out on a virtual platform. Maybe God has bigger plans for this ministry than what we thought! After all, it is HIS ministry and not ours. We are merely his hands and feet... and what a wonderful thing to be. Our hope and prayer is that this ministry helps to bring more women to know Christ and His unwavering love for us.

Let's get to today's challenge! For those of you who have spent time in the Bible, you probably already have a certain woman's story that stands out to you. For those of you that are new to the Bible, do a search for women of the Bible and read about some of them. Just like these women in the Bible, our stories can and will affect other women in our lives. People are watching us even when we don't know it. They watch us in our struggles and they watch us in our successes. What kind of influence do you think you have on others? I hope that my story shows love, kindness, forgiveness, and strength. All of which can only come from the love of Christ.

Your challenge today is to post which woman's story in the bible speaks to you the most and tell us why. Feel free to post a verse/reference with it so others can look it up.

Miriam

The prophetess Miriam was Moses' older sister, and she helped save him as a baby. Their mother left him in a basket to protect him from being killed by Pharaoh, and when Pharaoh’s daughter found him and took pity on him, Miriam offered up their mother to nurse him so they could stay together.

She taught us to have courage, to be a good sibling, to thank God for each and every blessing and trial we have, to be a leader, to use our gifts for God's glory, to stop complaining, to not talk bad about others, and that faith is a blessing for future generations.
